If you see the sun at any time during our 'so called' Summer..This is the place to report it...

The sun came out here In Manchester at approx.7pm and lasted for around ten minutes..

Things are looking up!...

Oi!!! Stop hogging it, and pass it down my way then!. I don't know about the rest of you, but I was bloomin' freezing my assets off earlier!.

...You know where the sun has gone don't ya?... It's been thrown away along with the rest of the collective 'waste' of the country, because it has become surplus to requirements as the dates of 'Summer' appear to have changed!.

I ' basked' in the sun here in Oxfordshire today...for 7 MINUTES!, otherwise it's been rain, rain and more rain.
The 'up-side' is - I don't have to water my hanging baskets, and the lawns are too wet to cut!

not the Billy Withers number Carole,, what i should have said was
"Ain't no sun since you been gone"
the Dynamics or Temptations ( dont know who done it first) i prefer the Dynamics version.......... But Dusty's is best

Yep... I knew you meant the Dusty song Dave...But that you tube vid is harder to find than the sun!(if it exists!).

So I 'made do' with Bill Withers..

It's over cast in London. Looks like it might rain later.

Here's Chuck Jackson (great voice) with 'Ain't No Sun'. I have a feeling this is the version Dusty would've listened to. I've got this on the Motown CD series 'Soul Satisfaction' (vol. 4).

I have been in the Lake District for the past week and I can see why the lakes are so full of water and everywhere is so green...it rained every day

Still I'm waterproof and its made my hair just that bit more curlier.

It's been raining in sunny Florida nearly non stop for the past two days. I know this is our rainy season, but enough already! I just came in from doing a few errands and even with an umbrella I was soaked.

LOL! Awww Marty I know how you feel, but hey I'd rather have it rain non stop for two days than be pelted with it for nearly two weeks!.

...still, at leats you're getting a fab summer!

New weather update, I just heard that since Saturday we had 8.03 inches of rain. When I was out yesterday, I did see a bit of street flooding. No wonder. On a happier note, everything is very nice and green right now!

No Carole, no Ark plans, YET!!!
