Have heard Dusty songs for years and one day, just touched that particular channel button on my TV remote and there was Dusty, aka Katy Setterfield! It really was no competition, Katy had to win as all of the other artistes paled into insignificance. It was so uncanny how much she was like Dusty and it was refreshing to enjoy the country's participation in the show. I have, since the show was aired, revisited Dusty's music and find the world at the time she was in it, absolutely fascinating.
So, seen a lot of the YouTube videos on Dusty.....I think Michael Ball is a huge Dusty fan...so we should get Katy on his show, especially for next year as it will be 10 years since Dusty sadly parted this world. Anyone out there willing to get that arranged - would be great publicity for this site if it could happen? Thinking again, is all.
Must say, some interesting stuff on this site...well done for putting this 'out there'...a lot of hard work in my humble opinion, both in terms of getting the site up and running, maintenance of same and keeping Dusty's memory fresh in the minds of 'anyone who has a heart'!
