Found this clip of Dusty from the 60s singing 'Once In My Life'. I quite like it, but could someone tell me what show this could be from, please?

I remember seeing Dusty singing For Once in My Life on "The Liberace Show" which was an eight episode series produced by Associated TeleVision which ran from May to July of 1969. My memory of her performance isn't vivid enough to say it's definitely the one in the clip but there's an excellent chance it is. |

I remember the Liberace Show and how much I enjoyed watching it. He obviously had excellent taste and excellent guest stars. Wonder if the videos are still in existence, I'd give nearly anything to have the series. Time machine please!

Thanks for finding this Emma...
However, to my mind, Stevie Wonder's version is the top one.
This is a goegeous song, and I think Dusty could have done a different 'take' on it, rather than going down the 'stevie' route.
A few years back, I heard a singer name of Dorothy Squires, singing the song, but she sang it slowly and from the heart.
So much so, that I mentioned it on the 'old' board and the late lamented Fraser sent me a copy of Dorothy's version.
I quite like it when uptempo numbers are slowed down... you take more notice of the words.

| This IS from the Liberace Show - Several hundred years ago DSB was able to sell vcr copies of some fantastic ITC shows - like the one mentioned above - it was a real treat after the wasteland of the 70's and 80's! I must dig the old tapes out and see what's on them if anyone's interested |
