LMAO EM! It isn't a great joke but it put a smile on my face!

And Bambs, Smoke On The Water is all played on the same string or whatever you call it and you pluck different strings (as you can see, I'm hopeless) I am the worlds most un-musical person. Even my music teacher told me she hoped she wouldn't see me in her class again when I was in year 5! I can't even clap to a tune...

I'm kinda depressed right now, it's my last day of holidays! I have to get up at 6 am tomorrow, to go to basketball training and then after school I have a french lesson. I'm dreading going back, not to mention I now have to wear my winter uniform. It's so ugly and totally unflattering, a gray and maroon skirt, gray tights, a see through white blouse and a marron jumper...yuck! I wanna cry at the thought of maths and PDH classes, I didn't realise but these past two weeks have been heaven, no classes or teachers, staying up as late as I want, very little exercise...and now, back to routine and education. EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

On the upside I just got a brand new haircut. A lot got chopped off, it was scary watching it all fall but this new style suits me more and looks really good! Feels so much better and lighter!

I didn't know you were in basketball, Al. Are you very athletic in general? I used to play when I was in elementary school, 5th grade. Lol, I sucked. I couldn't play to save my life but I loved every minute of it.

I like boxing, though. I love the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC) where they have mixed martial arts matches! I don't know why, but I love watching two men/women beat the beejesus out of each other! Especially when there is blood flying everywhere, that really gets me riled up. I mean they beat the living crap outta one another! I think I have some underlying anger issues....

LOL! As long as you had fun playing Bambs, Have you played any sport since then?
Down here we just get WWE and it's so fixed, I can't stand to watch it. Maybe so Bambs, are you the aggresive type!?! I wouldn't wanna fight the entire match just come in in the end and kick the loser while he's down! I like boxing more, when they get one good hit in and go down like a sack of potatoes.

I'm not athletic at all, but we play against the other girls schools on Saturday mornings and it's not very competitive, so it's good fun, you play a different sport every term, too, so next term I'm playing field hockey (I'm terrifying with a black mouthgard and a big stick!) I'm not the best basketballer coz I'm so short but I duck under the tall girls arms and run the ball down to the end...otherwise you'd be hard pressed to get me to run further then 100 metres.

We used to play baseball every summer, it was just a bunch of the kids I grew up with & we'd all get outside in the back pasture & play. That was before I became a teenager & got lazy. Now my sport is cleaning the house/my mustang, or, my favorite sport of all......gettin' drunk! We get drunk & wrestle with each other around here!

OMG! SERIOUSLY DEPRESSED! I just failed my maths test! THE FIRST TEST I HAVE EVER FAILED! I only got 26/60 when the average for my class was 41. If I was gonna fail anything THOUGH, it was maths, anything with numbers is my downfall! It was only worth 10% of my yearly mark but still...
I wasn't gonna tell my mama but parent-teacher night is on Thursday so my bloody maths teahcer will tell her anyways. Mrs Jostons spent the rest of the lesson talking to me like an idiot. One to bloody pass judgement she is, when I had to correct her on how to spell "philosophy" when she was writing notes on the board about differernt theorems. With any luck I'll be moved down a class. I'm so far out of my depth, last year I was in the bottom class, only until October of last year did they move me up to the 3rd class and this year they put me in the 2nd class, I was the only girl who moved up. Everyone else being in the first or second classes last year...meaning they're good at maths and I'm sucky and failing algebra very badly! I'll never be able to understand why they can't just put the numbers in and make it easier for me! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Alice my dear, don't be too hard on yourself. Ok, so you didn't do very well, but hey, that is just one subject right? There are many more which I'm sure you flourish in, and besides, school is just one huge test anyway isn't it?

I HATE maths, and I was not very good at it at school either. Who really cares what Pythagora's therom really is? Or that if you add X to Y and then mutiple it by Z you should get so and so? Life is too short to be pondering on such equations!Ok rant over.....

Speaking of tests, I had my 'urban education' exam last night- 6pm till 8pm. I tell you, those two hours seemed like forever, and by the time I was done my hand felt as though it had parted company with the rest of my body!

I'm sorry that you're so depressed about failing your test, Al. I hate failing at anything, but that's where my "I don't give a damn" attitude comes in! Very useful in those situations. Like Emma said, sweetheart, don't stress too much. Stressing won't change the grade or make anything any better....stressing will only age you & give you worry wrinkles! You can learn from this, though, & study harder the next time. You seem like a great student & a very determined girl, I have faith in you darlin'.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for getting an education & I think it's important. I want my children to go to school, get good grades, be the best students they can be & graduate. I would never advise anyone to drop out. Still, I dropped out in the 9th grade. I learned more from actually living life than sitting in a classroom. What I've learned through out my life is something that can & WILL NEVER be taught in school. The crap they teach is useless anyway! The only vital teachings are writing, spelling, & reading. They teach you all of this junk & you never use it again after you graduate. Absolutely pointless.

Yes Alice, and the best part about it is that I've nearly finished!. I then have all summer to party before the hard graft starts again when I begin my post-graduate training in order to get the Qualified Teacher Status. University is stressful Alice you're right, but it can also be a lot of fun too!

All patcheed up now! All the bruises have healed from my little night time adventure down the stairs, thanks for asking Sweetie!

I went to visit my profile thinking to change my avatar. Well, I'm having trouble picking, there are soooooooooo many brilliant pics of Dusty! I can't choose, I'm like a kid in a candy store!

Liking your new avatar Alice- I know what you mean though, so many to choose from! Mind you, at least you have the knowledge that whichever one you choose will look great!

Thanks all!

I'm packing my bag, I'm heading off to camp tomorrow morning for 3 days. It'll be fun but I HATE camping, and they say we're going it'll get down to zero at night! What can you do, three days without my phone and iPod, three days with out DUSTY!And terrible food and cold and hiking but I'll try and look at the positives. Three days with my friends and three days of fun activities.... YAY! I'll miss y'all though!
