Well how the hell has everyone been?! Dude, I have missed ya'll so freakin' much it is sad!!!! It drove me absolutely batty not being able to get on here, ya'll have no idea.
Oh, Al, I suggest you watch Tea With Mussolini. Not only does it have the great Maggie Smith in it, but it has Cher! It's a pretty cool flick...

Lol, you amuse the hell outta me when you imitate me over the phone. You don't do too bad, you do alot of great accents & imitations darlin', but you just have to work on the Southern accent a little longer. You haven't been around a redneck long enough to get it down pat, not yet anyway, wait until I get over there to see you. We'll get totally lit & I'll give you some redneck ebonics lessons.
My mama's birthday is tomorrow, yawl, I'm gonna go get her this special newspaper collection on Michael Jackson that they're selling in our mall. Mama was devistated when he passed away, so I know she'll love this!

Errr... I am sooooo bloody ticked right now!!!
I had a little bit of a talk with my music teacher today, she said I had to do the entire assignment by tomorrow (not my fault she lost mine) I said I would try and do as much as I could tonight but I had other more pressing issues (my exact words) well she hates me anyway and then said that it showed "bad character" on my part and I would thus be receiving a detention with my haed of year if I didn't do the work. Well wasting no time she went and told on me right then and there (umm...give me a chance!) and then called my mother and told her that I had attitude issues and made up a heap of things I "apparently" said (there were 10 people sitting next to me at the time and an entire class of people who ca prove I not have issues)!
At least I can quit her stupid classes next year...she doesn't think it's worth being nice to anyone unless they're taking music elective next year...I swear she's had in for me since day one, when I said no I don't play a bloody instrument! >:(

See, that wouldn't have done that teacher any good with me. She wants to give someone detention for no reason? Lol, oh, I'd have given her a reason to hand out a detention slip! Too bad we weren't in school together, Al, I'd have stuck up for you AND you would've had a detention buddy to sit in there with you! Lol, I'd have grabbed a flute & told her where she could stick it....
My two, by the way...Rayven's in 1st & Phoenix is in Pre-K. They wanted to skip Phoenix a grade because she's really smart, but she didn't know how to write her name yet. Lol, she can spell Phoenix, she just can't actually write the letters down yet. She can count to 10 in Spanish & say some words (thank God for Dora & Diego!), she knew everything they threw at her when she was being tested. Dat's my baby!

School eh? I know how you feel about the work issue, I've also had teachers who have 'lost' my work...funny isn't it they then seem to think it's our fault? Keep ya chin up though girl, we are always here in times of venting.

Ok, it's the FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF WOODSTOCK!!! I'm having a blast watching all of the Woodstock stuff on TV, I'm going to buy a book at Booksamillion for the marker, I'm also going to see the movie coming out on the 28th. Ang Lee directed it so it can't be bad. I am just having a ball, just lapping it up in it all it's hippy glory over here! I bought a Jimi Hendrix book & going to buy another one, I pondered on buying another Janis book, but I've already read most of what I need to know on her. It's great, I just don't even know where to start....it's like a tye-dye Christmas!!!!

cannot wait to see Taking Woodstock!
I've also been watching Lords Of The Revolution, a series special on VH1 & VH1 Classic. They do an hour long show on like Cheech & Chong, last night they showed Timothy Leary (The Acid King), Andy Warhol, people that were icons of the counterculture. Did my younger counterparts know that John Lennon wrote Come Together as Timothy Leary's song because he was running for governor of California? OOOO! And tonight they are showing Woodstock: Now & Then tonight on VH1!!!! I also watched The Monterey Pop Festival where Janis sang Ball & Chain, & it's where Jimi Hendrix set his guitar on fire!!! Beautiful, man, my love of the 60's has been fully rekindled!!!

Alice some teachers are pure b******s then think they can do what they like to intimidate their pupils.
If she "lost" your work then tell her it was her fault and you are NOT going to do it again, that's what she needs. It's only a damn music class after all.
I hope your parents didn't believe what she said.
