Sorry to hear you've not been well. I hate Flu, bunged up nostrils and not being able to taste food, aching all over, headache and the rest. I have been told that if you are vulnerable to the effects of flu you can have the vaccination. The only draw back being, viruses change year in and year out so the vaccination doesn't always work on the newer viruses. Cant win. Get Well Soon.

I had the flu shot this year (jab I believe to my UK friends)and still had the flu.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks guys... well I'm not bunged up any more, my headache has gone and I can feel the taste buds returning but I've got a rotten cough and a wheezy chest but I'm feeling a lot better than I was, though fairly tired cos every time I try to sleep I end up having a coughing fit which keeps me awake half the night! Aaaaarrrrgh!!!!!   |

The weekend is over, and its back to the school run for me, this means its my bed time or I shall never get up in the morning.
Got that Monday morning feeling already and were not quite there yet.
I dont know if anyone else noticed today but the day itself seemed to me to be a lot brighter.
In past years we have always had snow approx one month on from Christmas day so maybe this has something to do with it?
Looking forward to the light nights again.

I bought five tickets for the Power Ball Lottery, which was 195 M. Only had ONE number on two of the tickets the number "2". No fair the drawing was on my birthday!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! LOL!

Hey, I've been here faithfully every single day since I've joined!!! Lol, no one can accuse this American of neglecting the netowrk! Its not working Bambi, tomorrow's another day, and I'm going to try and get some shut eye.
You would be surprised by how many people read the threads without logging in, they may not post but they certainly do read!
We have a TV programme called: "Kill it, Cook It, Eat it.. over here in the UK and I couldn't help but think of your family business when I tuned in last week.
The animals being slaughtered were piglets, lambs,kids & calves and it made my stomach churn.
(It didn't stop me going out for a Steak on Friday night!)
