What a wonderful thread!
It has been a constant repetition of "Everyday I Have To Cry" and "If I Were Down & Out" which was the song she sung with "The Springfields" for "It's All Over Town" .....and I'm pretty sure "Losing You" was working it's way into my brain at some point today also! Been a busy day! |

LOL I feel like a numpty now! I was listening to the song & thinking "I KNOW I've heard this song by Dusty before! Where did I hear it at?!". I forgot I had the album! E-gads, man, I guess that's what they mean when they say drugs can affect your memory!
By the way, Alice, I LOVE Every Day I Have To Cry & Losing You. They were two of the first songs I started listening to when I was first listening to Dusty. Now which one of'em is my favorite is another story, 'at is like asking me to choose between my children. I'm still stuck on Go Easy On Me for the moment, Phoenix is still stuck on Wishin' & Hopin'/Doodlin. I think Wishin' & Hopin' is the only Dusty song that I have become tired of hearing. Phoenix has worn that'n O-U-T. Crazy little heathen....

Thank you, Frans. I really appreciate it, you didn't have to do that though. Why did you do it, by the way? Just curious. Oh, is this present going to make me cry? I have to know that way I can open it in privacy & not let anyone see my soft side. I have a "reputation" to protect, you know.
