LOL I just remembered that last spring I rescued three wild rabbits and I named them Peter Paul and Mary. They didn't live, though.

I was raised on their music.

Aww , I used to like John Denver.

Another Music Star killed in a plane crash... there have been so many, when you think of it...

I know it was abit maudlin, but I liked 'Annies Song' by John Denver.

I used to like John Denver - saw him live in London donkeys years back. He was a bit of a bible basher on stage though which I must say I objected to because we 'lost' half the show to religion.

Also, I went right off him after reading his biography. I always thought he loved 'Annie' so much......little did we realise at the time how dire their relationship was. He was NOT what he appeared to be as a 'loving' husband. Enough said .

I think there was a bit of a question mark over his death as well - was it an accident or suicide?

I saw John Denver twice in concert and thought he was excellent, there was no sign of bible bashing when I saw him Janie.

Mary looks most uncomfortable leaning over the neck of the guitar towards the microphone.

My favourite record of there's is I Dig Rock & Roll Music.

Did you mean "bible thumper" Janie? I didn't think John Denver was overtly religious. He was quite spiritual in his later years when it came to 'living in harmony with the land'. His death most certainly wasn't a suicide, his plane crashed while he was on his way to film another documentary (I think it might have been about Alaska? I forget at the moment). John Denver certainly wasn't a saint, but I admire his passion for and love of the planet earth. He could have done some amazing things in the past decade regarding global warming and climate change.
