I'm at it again folks!
This time it's Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, a wonderful group from New York who are quietly taking the 'soul world' by storm.
So far I've managed to get my mits on two albums - 'Naturally' and '100 DAYS, 100 NIGHTS' both of which will remind you of the days when soul albums were just THAT...SOUL with a capital 'S'. Sharon Jones has a real soul voice in the true tradition of the classic 'Diva's of soul' (Aretha, Shirley Brown, Betty Wright, Carla Thomas etc)...backed by her group of REAL musicians it makes you feel good to be alive!
