 I thought my board buds might be interested to know Taylor Dayne the blue-eyed soul chanteuse who made some noise - much of it quite attractive - in the late 80s-early 90s has released her first studio album in some ten years. It's called Satisfied & seems to be selling very well: you can view the video for the lead-off single Beautiful at http://youtube.com/watch?v=ppUWG7cL0_I: it's a pleasant upbeat ballad that puts me in mind of Lisa Stansfield. BTW Taylor's last album Naked featured a version of YDHTSYLM but I don't recommend that: Taylor's urgent voice is perfect for upbeat songs such as Tell It to My Heart & can be effective on mid-tempo numbers - Heart of Stone is perhaps her best performance - but on a delicate number like YDHTSYLM her harsh vocal leaves the song in ribbons.
