I was driving home, with thoughts of how pleasant Chrissie Hynde's voice is, and wondering what Katy's victory now will means to her, when UB40 and Chrissie Hynde's version of 'Breakfast in Bed' came on. Different from Dusty but recognisably the same song. A little touch of Dust in an unexpected place.

Dusty won, yes she did.

Anyone interested...the SECOND best version of 'Breakfast in bed' is by LORNA BENNET..a reggae version which actually was released in Decca BEFORE Dusty's version. It's much more uptempo, and is quite fabulous

Thanks for the info Brian, can't say I've heard the original but I'm sure it's very good!

Though as for the subject matter, the last thing I'd wanna do is have 'Breakfast in Bed'......I mean what about the crumbs from the Toast!!

I like Chrissie Hinde with The Pretenders better than this reggae version of Dusty's 'Breakfast In Bed with UB40.... Doesn't do a thing for me.
