So with a cuppa tea starting to overtake a cuppa coffee 'on the street'...

Which make do you buy?
How do you drink it? Sugar milk etc?
Do you have a particular 'Blend'.. Earl Grey, Darjeeling, or ASDA?

and why do I want to know?...

I have no idea.

See now I prefer tea to coffee, but then again I'm just finicky anyways about most things.

Which make?

PG Tips of course!.

How do I drink it?

In a mug/cup normally. One teaspoon of sugar, and milk.

....and only on REALLY special occasions, do I dip my biscuit in it.

Re Coffee....I used to get my Capuccinos mixed up with my Expressos...

A few yrs ago whilst in London I ordered an Expresso, thinking it would come with a 'froffy' top and a sprinkling of chocolate...

I got a teaspoonful of strong coffee with no milk or sugar!..

I then found out that Expresso's are used as a 'pick me up' a quick slurp of neat caffeine is supposed to give you a 'lift'...

So, from then on, it was Double Expressos for me...(not!)..

This is so weird, I wanted to ask this question too! I can never decide which coffee to buy. I was drinking Cafedirect fair trade coffee which was okay. Went to get some today and the shop didn't have a lot of choice so I just got the smallest jar of Nescafe What's Red mountain like? They had that on offer at 99p but I daren't get it in case it was nasty
They sell this really nice instant coffee in York called Boaters, and it comes in diffent kinds, but I've only ever seen it in York.
Tea's okay but I definitely prefer coffee.. 2 sugars and soya milk

For tea it's Typhoo and for coffee if it's not percolated then it's Nescafe Cap Colombie which is the closest I've ever tasted to ground coffee.

Great thread. As refreshing as a nice cup of Tetley's.

I drink Nescafe Alta Rica which is the stronger tasting version of Karl's Cap Colombie - they cost about £3.30 but are really good and value for money for the taste. They are regularly on offer at Sainsbury's and other supermarkets - that's when I stock up.

One sugar and don't stint on the milk!

I like Marks and Spencer's tea. Karl wasn't it called Gold? I think your tea taste much better than ours. Living in Florida I mainly live on Lipton Ice Tea, when it's cooler I enjoy a cup of warm tea. Never took a liking to coffee.

My last trip to England, in the morning my hotel brewed the tea in big pots for hours and I thought it was awful.

1 teaspoon of sugar
lemon is optional

I gotta problem:(No sarky comments please!)

Not many, if any, have said whether they have skimmed, semi-skimmed, or full cream milk in their tea or coffee.

So, I can't put the kettle on until I know the answer to this burning question.
